Make sure all the PC's are in the same workgroup. make sure the firewall on all PC's is set to allow print and file sharing. This includes the windows firewall and any 3rd party firewalls (e.g symantec) installed.

they need to be set to private instead of public in control panel
Are any running Windows Vista? They have a problem seeing other computers running XP. Is file sharing turned on for the all the computers in the workgroup?
A computer must be set to ''public'' for other computers on the same network. A way to see all the connected computers is to go to http://home (No .com). There you will find a summary of your network and all the devices connected. I would advise you to not change any of the settings that you can there because it may mess up you network.
The computers must have the same workgroup name to see each other. The Windows Firewall or any other firewall that you use must allow file and print sharing as well. When this is done, you will see all the computers and see each other's resources.
check to make sure that your computer is on the same workgroup.
