Do all computers have batteries in them? I know older modles do but I assume the newer ones do to..

Desktop computers only need a battery, to keep your BIOS settings stable, if the battery dies any BIOS data is lost. Your computer will no longer work, replace the battery and reset the BIOS settings. BTW the battery is usually a CR2032 Lithium battery.

I would imagine that all pc's do. they use them on the motherboard, but it is a simple watch battery i think, just to keep some juce flowing for the cmos.

Yup all of em have batteries in them. they are small ones, for memory, and for the clock.
