I have 3 computers in my office that share the same Verizon DSL, will using a switch improve the DSL

Basically, I have a wireless router modem from Verizon (Westell). 3 computers share the modem as does a printer and a 2nd modem used for Vonage. This modem provides VOip and a dedicated fax line. I purchased a switch in hopes of improving that the DSL signal upload and download would improve. Is there anything else I can do?

Pay for faster DSL. All that you're doing has nothing to do with the bandwidth and speed of your DSL--That's provisioned by your DSL provider.

If anything, a switch would slow things down. You are adding another piece of networking equipment and another hop for the signal to transmit through. Try FIOS instead of DSL if you can.
get an adapter and put them all on one
I think you are doing everything you can. But try putting each computer to a different modem or something similar.
What you have done will not increase the speed of DSL, but if the new switch speed is faster than the router/modem, the data transmission rate to each computer will be improve up to the DSL speed. Other than upgrade your DSL service, there is nothing else you can do.
No. LANs use minimum of 10 MBPS. LANs younger than 5 years would be on 100MBPS. even at extreme sharing it is faster than your incoming connection.
