I have a network with about 40 computers & need to control / limit the bandwidth per computer?

I have a network with about 40 computers and I need to control / limit the bandwidth from users. I several issues from streaming audio, video, downloads and other internet usage. Some things are work related but when 10 plus users start downloading files extra it can cripple the network speed. Looking for a software or hardware applicaiton

On the hardware side, the cheapest thing you can get is the Planet BM-xxxx series, the bandwidth managers.

Via simple web interface you can define both the upload and download speeds for individual computers or computer groups or do QoS for services like VoIP.

Work quite brilliantly for the price.
