How can i access files from other computers in my house if i only have g network?

i have 3 computers and they are shareing a internet connection via a belkin wireless g router.. but how can i access files from the other computers.. such *** music, video.. if i were to get a MIMO router would that help?? i'm cunfuse people.. please help

The way I access files from other computer in my home network is by right click on the folder that contains music, pictures and set it to sharing.

Right click on the folder to be shared

go all the way down to properties

Click on the sharing tab

Check "Share this folder on the network"

and if you want the users from the other computers to make changes of the folder being shared also check "Allow network users to change my files" this gives the right to "Read/Write" if you want read only then don't check it

click Ok

The above if for you to set a sharing folder in your machine for other to access, now you want to access from other computers in your home network, you follow the above but in the other computers

Also to do this, all computers have to be part of the same workgroup

if you don't know if they are in the same workgroup

then check them individually by

Right click on my computer

go all the way down to properties
